We are the only soft plastic flavored octopus tentacle lure company on the planet manufacturing and selling our US Patented (USD767,709) one of a kind soft plastic squid flavored tentacles. Our fishing lures were developed, tested and perfected in the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Keys by Captain Mike DeWitt over decades of charter fishing trips. In addition to carefully chosen materials, our products are made from years of fishing experience and a belief in giving the fish the one thing that they all can not resist, a juicy octopus tentacle. BOTTOM CANDY first and foremost want to bring attention to the amazing octopus and preserve the species for as long as possible. We have been consuming them forever and using them as bait as well, all the while decimating the population for our own benefits. It is our hopes that we could at least save a few of our little friends from becoming bait and still catch some fish that would be great. Mike has owned/operated vessels as large as a 72’ Hatteras to a 21 CCs

Mike has owned/operated vessels as large as a 72’ Hatteras to a 21 CCs and his beloved SuperFISHous Ocean SS yacht. When not out on the water catching fish Mike likes to pilot his Jet powered funny car at speeds of over 325 mph. He has traveled the world “wowing” fans and setting many land speed and track records. If you are fishing the west coast or the big islands of Hawaii stop in at your local Walmart and pick up some BOTTOM CANDY scented and flavored octopus tentacles before you hit the water! We started out in a few select stores in January 2023 and have already increased to all island stores as well as some select stores in California.
